Watch Scratch Cat move around the stage drawing color-shifting triangles as he goes!
In this project, you will learn how to use the Pen Extension in Scratch to draw directly onto the stage. You'll apply several foundational concepts from computer science including variables, loops, conditional statements, and events. Variables will allow the user to change the behavior while the program is running. Loops will allow Scratch Cat to draw triangles continuously without having to repeat instruction sequences in the code. Conditional statements will allow the program to make decisions, choosing to do either one thing or another thing. Events allow the program to react to things the user does while the program is running. In the end, you'll have a program that draws patterns similar to string art or the Spirograph!
Note: This project is included in our One Year All Access Plan.
