Learn basic concepts associated with computer science and video game design as your create an arcade-style game in Scratch to help the hungry monkey catch the falling bananas. For each bunch of bananas it catches, two more take its place, and the maximum falling speed increases. The player gets points for bananas that are caught and loses points for bananas that hit the ground. The game ends when there are no more bananas to catch. You'll learn how to use variables, loops, conditional statements, and events - concepts that are found in every programming language!
